Buffalos Restaurant

Palmetto Bluff Resort, Bluffton, SC

Working closely with the architecture firm, Historical Concepts, WRD created a cafe and bookstore space that provides a place for guests to enjoy dining outside with views of the May River or inside around one of two fireplaces. WRD designed the floor, furniture, lighting and finish plans and custom designed most of the interior furniture. Local artisans were commissioned to fabricate the metal sculptures and to paint the mural and artwork around the space. Each decorative light fixture was custom designed by WRD using antique hardware provided by Eloise Pickard of Sandy Springs Galleries.
