About
Whitney Rietz Eller is the Design Principal and Owner of her own Charleston, SC based interior design business, Whitney Rietz Designs (WRD). Specializing in hospitality, contract and residential design since 2000, she oversees all the programming, planning and design of projects ranging from Nantucket to West Palm Beach. Such endeavors include: Restaurants, Country Clubs, Boutique Hotels, Offices and residential projects throughout the Charleston, SC area. Currently, WRD has aligned with Max Crosby Construction to oversee the interior selections of the custom homes constructed in the Charleston, SC area.
Whitney started her business immediately upon graduating from O’More College of Design in Franklin, TN, where she holds a B.S. of Interior Design. It was here where she was recognized as the “Top Graduating Senior in the State of Tennessee” by the TN chapter of IIDA. Her previous college experience includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University and classical architectural studies at the Institute of Classical Architecture in NYC. Although creating beautiful interiors is her passion, her first and foremost loves are her husband, Aaron and her two sons, Liam and Graham.
WRD's design services include the 5 Stages of Design: Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, Contract Administration and Installation/Procurement.
